No Pain No Gain

At some point throughout our lives we’ve all spent time doing some form of physical exercise. It might be going to the gym, out for a walk, riding a bike, swimming, or a run. No matter what form of exercise we’ve done it can be a challenge to get there each day. Life has a way of appearing as our daily day unfolds. Often times a very busy work schedule does not allow much free time to escape tom the gym.

Truth is it’s easy to “not exercise” and make up excuses for obstacles which appear in our lives and place blame on external forces to cover for not getting there each day. Over the years I’ve heard some good excuses as to why it was not possible to get to the gym, most time external forces beyond our control become the new norm as to why we don’t follow through with the promises we make to ourselves. There are many reasons why this is, all excuses are equal. It could be a conflict with schedule, long work hours, fatigue at the end of the day, or another force which does not allow for us to find the time.

Yet among all excuses fear is not one which we give much thought to…Like a good work out at the gym…No pain no gain…If you and I are going to live life to our true potential we must face our fears. It’s easy to walk away, however when that happens we’re providing ourselves with a temporary solution to a permanent problem. It take courage to stand up to fear, rather than walk away. At times this can be intimidating and a bit scary…

Life is a gift from our creator. Each day we must live life to the fullest never thinking about fear, only about that which we wish to do. Stepping up to the plate of fear is a liberating experience. Even the smallest of issues can lead to a life of undiscovered potential. Making the decision to face fear is when the decision to create the life you desire begins. So how can we begin?

The first step is to make a promise to ourselves, the truth is where we should begin. Open up your mind and begin to see the real issue-Don’t be hard on yourself facing fear is a marathon not a sprint. With a few steps each day before long you’ll begin to see issues a challenges. Be honest with yourself what is the real reason you fail to take action? Begin to look for patterns, ask yourself questions.

We sometimes have too many rules, fear of failure is at the top of the list. Our need to preserve self-identity gets in the way of action needed to overcome a fear based conflict. A wall is constructed around the action to move us forward and face the issue. To be truly free and live an extraordinary life fear must not be allowed to be a part of the future.

It takes courage and patience to face fear. Nothing happens overnight fear is a a false ideal we tell ourselves during time when our self talk is allowed to speak…Know you are a champion, like a famous athlete, your inner potential is just waiting to be discovered. Don’t sell yourself short the real you is just waiting to be unleashed. Today is the day to begin this journey into the unknown, to travel deep within. Make the decision, move forward and begin a life of freedom.

There is a limitless world just waiting for you, your actions will have a ripple effect to the people is your circle of influence. Think of how peoples lives will be impacted with the actions you take. It’s not just you who will benefit from facing your fears, a rising tide raises all ships. The world will be a better place because of what you now have to offer it !
