Is wealth linked to happiness? Can a person who has never been wealthy learn to become financially free? Does more money make your life better? Many would say having enough money to pay your obligations and still have some to spend would say yes! But if we keep doing what we are currently doing how can life change for the better? In reality if more is what is desired then more is what you must become. The universe rewards the greater good. If we take from it the universe takes from us, if we give we are rewarded with the same. To understand the link between success and failure we must first understand the elements in conjunction with “Assembling The Puzzle Of Personal Development.” Our first assignment is to evaluate where we are in the world, what we have to add to the greater good and what we need to do to become more. For me personally this was one of the hardest assignments I’ve ever had to do. Determining what my strengths were and what my weakness were and how to address them became quite the experience. On paper it looks like no big deal, however once I began the journey I discovered how challenging it was. Life is nothing more then an assembling of experiences, yet along the way we tend to miss out on the message life is sending us. It’s not what we get in life it’s what we become along the way. Our view of where we are in life manifests through our own thoughts, our internal blueprint is obtained and designed by the...

A deep thought to start your week…What will your life look like in 10 years? No matter how hard we try time doesn’t stop, each day which goes by we all grow older, but the road we’re on now it going somewhere, the question is…Where? We can’t ignore the path we’ve taken is based on our decisions and actions. Truth is what if that road we’re on is not what we want? What can we do? Ten years is a long time looking forward, yet looking back seems like yesterday. When I was in my twenties I worked 70-80 hours 6 days a week. I’m not afraid of hard work and long hours, putting in a good days work is good for the soul. You develop discipline and good habits. As the years went by I found myself looking down the road thinking to myself is this what I’ll be doing for the rest of my life? At the time I was surrounded by people working the same hours I was, although much older and wiser they still were in the same job they were in 10 years ago, not moving up the ladder, but stuck in the same job, day in and day out. The older folks who I had the pleasure of working with were fantastic people to learn from, yet when asked what their goal was in the future a look of uncertainty came across their brow. What do you mean? I have a good job with benefits, retirement, and vacation time, what more do I need? Not the answer I was looking for. However that...

Today more than any other point in time our work ethic must be top notch. Employers are seeking the best as business is much more competitive as past years, we much seek our best each day no matter what position you hold and who you work for. In order to compete for high paying salaries with good benefits we have to stay on our toes, this is the new norm. Yet for some they would rather settle for less, not only in the work place but in life also. There is nothing wrong with being content with a current position, challenge is when we stop stretching ourselves and look for the end of the day instead of what we can do better when our task is completed. When we settle our confidence suffers, our self worth suffers, as well as our ambition to grow. Opportunities are missed as our ability to notice a good path crosses ours…We become less, earn less than we were created to do. Never settle for less than you can do. The good news is you can do something about it. At our core we all seek better, however what do we do to eliminate bad energy? You can make a few changes and embrace challenges. We can rely on our self discipline, self reliance, and self direction by doing a little more each day. There is no substitute for work, we can not sit there and think buy utilizing just affirmations and not take action! We cannot make work to just be done by saying words, and not take action. Success does not just...

Mixed in with time is many elements of life, what you do each day as well as what you do for other people. Although we as a society have become efficient and accessible in every way, we have somehow disconnected from what is important to your true self. Day to day chores and activities apply pressure on us every day, the world is a different place than it was when we were in our youth. Technology has allowed leverage in communication but not allowed us the free time we all seek. As most of do each and every day, appreciation and respect is something we all look to achieve when a good deed is done. Our intentions are good yet we ignore the person we need to please the most! We’ve all experienced helping out and the compliments received when we’re done. We feel a sense of focus on anything but ourselves. There is a constant demand to keep other people satisfied, while thinking this is the way to receive the love and respect we all seek. Over time this only ends up providing stress and frustration, it’s a game of chess with no winners-as with any journey its not the destination but the journey it’s self which shapes us as an individual. People will see you for a multitude of things however one element they can never take from you is who you are. For most people that is a question which can never be answered, daily workloads consume every hour with little time to have a clear thought. Like a battery in a car we all need...

In many way’s the world is the same as it was years ago. Some would argue the new era we live in is a much faster pace with a constant change in methods and means pertaining to work as well as in our personal lives. People still get up go to work and have leisure time in the evening, well not everyone…Time has become the new obsession, or lack there of. If you’d look at time I think we all could agree, 24 hours a day 7 day’s a week…That’s all we have…Right? So what is the difference today? Time is the same. Could it be computers? Cell phones? Social Media? Information it literately at our finger tips, anything you need to know is just a few clicks away. However with all this technology our ability to be more productive in a shorter time frame is normal…Right? You’d think we’d all agree but when looking around in public the majority of the population in on warp speed, seems like everyone is in a hurry to go no where with less time to get there…Cripes… An endless wheel of stress and confusion with little to no change in newly formed habits which have most doing the same thing over and over again and again…Sound familiar? Technology should have made our lives easier and much more productive with more free time each day. Truth is it doesn’t matter if more tools, or technology is available, how we utilize them is what does matter. Being more productive allows us to measure the amount of output we generate in a small time...
