Have you ever looked back on your life and said…I never seem to have the time to do what I need to do, there is always something I need to do! If only I had more money, I could take the time to do the things I want to do in life.
If your like most people you wake up to a alarm clock screaming in your ear, get dressed, have a bite to eat, and drive to work. All the while thinking about what you need to accomplish that day at work, sound familiar?
As the day comes to a close you are looking forward to going home and relaxing…But do we really relax???
For most of us it’s hurry home eat dinner then hurry to…Cut the grass…Clean the house…Fix that leaky faucet…Go grocery shopping…Help the kids with their homework…Do the laundry…Etc…Etc…
We miss an important part of life which is, spending time with our thoughts. Our own internal voice. There is a place we go from time to time when our mind is not so “busy” thinking about all the things that need to get done, it is a calmness that overtakes us, a place where we go in our mind, nothing else in life matters…It can be just before you go to bed or perhaps when you first wake up, that break in time when there are no thoughts racing around in your mind.
What if you could make that connection every day, you would have less stress, more energy, better focus, how would that make you feel?
Truth is there is no “magic formula” to obtain those results, however there are a few things you can do to better control your thoughts…
Questions…Ask a lousy question and you’ll get a lousy answer, ask a good question and you’ll get a good answer.
The key is to ask quality questions which empower your true nature within. You might ask questions like:
- What do I love in my life (use examples, my family, friends, spouse, etc)
- What am I grateful for in my life
- What am I most proud of in my life
- What am I excited about in my life
- What am I enjoying in my life
- What am I passionate about in my life
By taking time every day to ask yourself quality questions you will access a deep emotional state which can lead to, happiness, joy, passion, gratitude, love, and excitement.
We are all busy in life-however begin your day asking better questions. Before long it will be part of your morning routine.
You will be amazed with your results!
Did this help you? If so I would greatly appreciate it if you commented below and shared on Facebook.
