What is the secret to success? How do wealthy people become wealthy? Business man and investor Warren Buffett demonstrated his keen business abilities at an early age, by the age of 13 he was running his own business as a paper boy. In high school he and a friend invested 25 dollars in a pinball machine within months they sold their business for a profit of 1200.00 !! Over the years seems like every time you turn around you hear about another company he bought or invested in becomes profitable. At 86 years old, the “Oracle of Omaha” continues to work. Some people say everything he touches turned to gold! Ever wonder how he did that? Yes he was gifted with natural abilities. But so are you. Did you know you can earn as much as you want! So what is the secret? We are compensated in direct relation of the value we provide. Which means if you want to earn more you must become more. These words from Jim Rohn have helped me over the years, I use them on a daily basis: “To have more, simply have to become more.” “Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better.” “For things to change you have to change.” “We get paid for bringing value to the marketplace.” Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job. As you improve on your skills think about a way you can add value to the marketplace. If you own a business look what your competition is providing their clients and provide better value for their investment. If...

Imagine for a moment you are a lawyer in a court of law. You have been called on as a witness, the lawyer for the prosecution is attempting to convince the jury that you are a credible witness. What do you think he or she will try to prove? You are an honest person with good intentions and you would not lie. You don’t have a “hidden agenda” which would sway your testimony. You have the knowledge and expertise in the area that you are called to testify. Most importantly that you have a good track record and have demonstrated in the past your ability to obtain results! Now it’s the Defense lawyers turn. What is the defense lawyer going to try to prove to the jury? You’d think the first think he or she would do is to attempt to convince the jury that you’re not credible! However that’s not the way it goes… One of the first things they will do is to prove you are dishonest and lack integrity, or you have some hidden agenda which testimony could benefit the prosecution. your track record is in question or lacks results. Needless to say, in life it boils down to four key elements: Integrity Your Intent Your Capabilities Your Results If you and I are going to are to be credible to ourselves and to others we must first trust who we are. Have you ever made a new year’s resolution? We decide to get in shape for the new year, we’ve made a plan to go to the gym 3 days a week and spend...

Some people are always happy no matter what is going on around them, It’s as if they are in there own world. There are two types of people, those who choose to be happy and those who choose to be unhappy. However happiness does not come from having money or being famous. The richest person on the planet could be unhappy while people without wealth can be the happiest! So how do they do that ? Who we are on the outside is directly related to the world within. Our own state of consciousness. It is where we dwell all day. As we think on the inner world our outside world and circumstances shape themselves accordingly. We only attract what belongs to us, nothing can enter into our inner “thought life”. It’s ours and belongs to us. Therefore your thoughts are the real you! We create our own circumstances.. If circumstances had the power to bless or harm, wouldn’t that bless or harm us all? A person living in poverty may not have any money, but in their mind they are happy and content! To begin to change the visible world around us we must first begin to change our inner world, this is possible if we control out thoughts. We must first eliminate all debilitating and despondent thoughts and incorporating into your thoughts of: Joy Compassion Love Beauty Strength Plant these 5 words in the fields of your thoughts today and you’ll soon begin to see more joy, compassion, love, beauty and strength begin to manifest in your life!! Did this help you? If so I would greatly...

Have you ever been in a conversation with someone and you can’t get a word in? After over 35 years my friend Joe and his wife decided to sell their house, it’s not they were unhappy with their home, things just change over time, once a quiet neighborhood in the country with an occasional car has developed into a place of constant noise and traffic. Last weekend I helped them move, their new house is all on one floor located on a very quiet street in eastern Massachusetts. On Monday I met a client for lunch, I asked him how his weekend was he replied “very nice.” and yours? I told him I helped my friend Joe move to eastern Massachusetts, he replied, I grew up in eastern Massachusetts! Over the next hour I sat there and listened to him tell me stories of the things that he and his family did when they lived there. However I did find each story quite fascinating. After lunch we shook hands and he said how much he had enjoyed our conversation…I thought to myself, how much he had enjoyed the conversation? I hardly said a word. I couldn’t have said anything even if I wanted to unless I changed the subject. I sat there and listened to him because I was interested and he could feel it. I had asked him questions and intently listened. Do you think I would have made a good impression if I did not listen to what my client had to say that day ? It has been said it’s better to be a good listener...

How important is it for someone to remember your name ? You begin the conversation and you introduce yourself clearly, yet only a short while later that person does not remember your name ! Can you relate to this ?? When someone says your name it leaves you with a sense of importance. Sometimes it’s a challenge remembering a persons name especially if it is hard to pronounce. For most of us we’re so busy thinking about what we want to say next that we don’t quite get their full name which can place you in a disadvantage. However if you remember that name and properly pronounce it, you have just sent a very effective compliment to the person! Do you think you’ll have a better chance gaining their respect ? Franklin D Roosevelt was a master at recalling names, he could remember a persons name clearly with one time hearing their name. How is that possible ? Did he have some sort of secret ? Perhaps, When asked he said, “I pictured the persons name as if it was written on their forehead.” Mr Roosevelt knew the best way to gain the goodwill of others was to remember their name. In remembering names the first thing we must do is listen to what is being said, instead of thinking what you are going to say next, your internal dialogue occupies the same auditory nerve in your ear as external sound. Here are three ways to remember names: Concentrate and listen to what they say, repeat the name to yourself a few times. Imaging the name as if it...
