If you are in sales one of the harder aspects of selling is to ask for the sale, yet is one of the most overlooked part of sales. Most sales happen after asking more than one time, some studies have suggested 80 percent of sales happen when the prospect is asked more than one time! Which is why most people don’t achieve the results they desire, get discouraged and quit. Did you know, if you are not involved in a sales job you still sell every day?? Remember when you were younger and wanted to sleep over a friends house? You pulled out all the stops…But mom all my friends are sleeping over! Both parents will be home…We’ll go to bed early…I promise to come right home in the morning! Seems like yesterday. Right ?? Building rapport is a key element in sales as well as in every day life. Sometimes we miss out on opportunities, it could be a sale if you sell for a living, could be earning a persons trust, or a job promotion. If you and I are going to live the life we desire we must learn to build rapport with the people within our lives. Why is that important? Building rapport can provide you with many opportunities. Think about it, there are unlimited ways you can apply rapport in your every day life. Friends, family, co-workers, and someone we don’t know. When rapport is established you are in control!! People love when someone listens to what they have to say. When was the last time...

Can you remember a time when you were about to do something and you said to yourself…This doesn’t feel right…I knew that was going to happen….That person is going to crash and burn. Or you were thinking about an old friend from school or college, and that same day they call you? It’s not likely we read peoples minds or anything like that, we just know that feeling we get in out gut when something makes us feel uncomfortable or alerts us of a potential issue. When we were growing up our parents were always trying to keep us safe, offer us advice, keep us out of trouble. In our teen age years it was the advice of a close friend who always knew what was in our best interest, right??? Yet for most of us we never listen to that inner voice which is always there looking out for us. However there are other times when we just know it’s not a good idea to continue with: A new project or business venture An unstable relationship A large job promotion An investment When I began my journey within I was a bit unclear just how powerful this concept was. I read many books, listen to recordings, and watched many videos. One of the biggest challenges we are all faced with is, what your intuition trying to tell you? For most of us it is quite tricky to understand, on the outside we just want to make a quick decision and get on with it…But deep inside something is not quite right, which for most people is quite frustrating,...

Do you ever want to earn more money? Is finding spare time to develop a second business a challenge? Does your family or friends ever tell you ” your wasting your time.” Do you want to spend more time with your family? If you answered yes to at least one of the questions your not alone, truth is most people would like to earn more and have more time to spend with family and friends. Some years ago I was friends with a man named John, he was a very successful manager at a car dealership, it seemed like every time I spoke to him he was earning more and more money, buying expensive cars, remodeling his house…He was inspiring to talk to. One day I just had to ask the question..So…John how can an average person become as successful as you are? He said it’s simple Steve you just have to put your mind on what you want and go after it…Don’t worry about what people think or say, it’s your life and all that matters is what you think or say… That was the first time I had ever asked that question, however it did sound simple, I have read many books on the importance of being clear on what you want. Needless to say there was something about the was he said it that made me wonder. I thanked him for taking the time to talk to me and we agreed to connect in a few months at the same location… When we finally connected a few months later…much to my surprise my friend John looked...

Most of us have have heard stories of successful people and how they have had developed amazing discipline during their life which has lead to even more success! Did you realize you can develop that same amazing discipline which most people desire but never seem to achieve the results they desire? Truth is there is no secret to developing discipline, it can be as easy as a few changes in your current behavior. However, the first thing we need to realize is what we need to change to develop a new pattern. Have you ever wanted to loose weight or exercise more? We all have at one point in our lives. The hardest part about getting into shape is just showing up at the gym! Once your there the workout is not that bad…We think about going to the gym all day, sometimes we try to justify why we can’t make it to the gym. I worked late today and I’m tired. I don’t have time tonight I have to cut the grass I need to weed the garden I have to Wash the car Take the dog for a walk (or any other excuse we can think of) Discipline can be developed by small daily activities which can be as simple as the following: 1) Develop a written game plan. 2) Which one will make you feel good when complete 3) Number them with the most important one first One of the challenges is with trying to get it all done, instead take bite size pieces, for example if you are looking to get in shape...

Seems like every one you talk to these days is working harder than ever. The daily demands of work and family has left most of us scattered and frustrated that no matter how hard we work things we desire to get done never seem to get completed! Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with hard work, however the world has changed a bit since our parents were our age… Societal expectations of our personal and professional lives are completely different from when you and I were kids. These days more and more people are “spinning their wheels” attempting to complete their “to-do lists.” Think about it when was the last time you finished every thing on your to-do list? It’s no secret there is great value in checking off tasks on that list, yet most of the anticipated items we want to complete each day never seem to get complete. My Dad would always tell me to write it down then check it off as you accomplish tasks, which was very helpful, the challenge was, there was always items left at the end of the day. Yes there is always tomorrow…Truth is how many things do you want to “put off” to another day? Today there is a more productive way of organizing that amazing “to-do list.” Here are three simple steps you can take to keep your tasks organized: 1) Clarity: There is no replacement for knowing what you want to accomplish each day. Why do you want to complete an item? The clearer you become about what you want the easier it gets, think...
