Seems like everyone you talk to these days is busy, earning a living, trying to balance between work, family and friends. There is never enough time in the day to do the things you want to do.
The common theme today is:
“I have no time”
“I can’t seem to find the time”
“I ran out of time”
“I don’t have time for that right now”
Has the world changed? Is your life different today than when you were a child? What is causing this change in society?
The one constant in life is change, although we don’t like it change is actually good for us all! It helps us grow and stretch ourselves out of our comfort zone. However for some people this can be stressful.
So what can we do to change our outlook and appreciate life in our very busy schedule?
How can we eliminate stress?
There are many books on this subject, but for most of us we are looking for something quick! sound familiar?
Over the years I have read many books on how to meditate and how to relax the mind, all great books. However it requires a time commitment and discipline to implement each day.
I discovered a way…would take only 10 minutes a day…I had amazing results…You can too if you do the following:
1) Gratitude, before you start your day think about all the things you are grateful for in your life, your health, family, friends, your job, ability to have shelter and food each day, etc…
2) Prayer, there are people in your life that may need a prayer, bless that family member that is having a hard time in life, a friend who may not have any issues but you are praying for them to continue in good health!
3) Future Frame a goal you are working to attain: Think about your goal add as many details as you can think of it as a movie and you are the star actor, see it as if it is already accomplished. There is great power in this exercise, you are rewiring your mind to focus on success.
Begin each day in this way, you will improve in time.
Our brains are like a computer, they need programing, if we input good we’ll find more good if we input bad we’ll find that also…What’s great about that is it’s up to us to decide.
We all have 24 hours each day, if we can’t find 10 minutes to change our life now…
There will always be things to do.
10 minutes each day can change your entire outlook in life!
~Be blessed~
