In today’s world it doesn’t matter if you own a business or you work for a company, on of the biggest challenges you are faced with is how to motivate your team.
Whatever industry I have been involved with I always been obsessed with being the best no matter what I had to do, I would start early in the morning and work late into the night…
But not everyone operates like that, I learned that the hard way. Having too high of an expectation for people on your team can cause you to get frustrated. Some people will get discouraged and quit!
You never know what make other people happy, accept them for who they are.
If you are involved in Network Marketing , there could be people on your team that have never recruited a single person but are very happy to be part of the team. They enjoy going to the events and meet other people from around the world, or perhaps they just enjoy the products.
Have you ever tried to motivate someone and they actually did less work?
One of my mentors taught me to never motivate but to inspire, when you motivate that comes from an external force.
When you inspire you create a inward-out.
Which means you inspire people by doing the action you wish they would do. People notice when you do something more than when you just say something…
When I was in the construction industry I was very consistent every day, my co-workers always respected the amount of work I would produce, which inspired the people around me to work harder and do the same!
If you are in Network Marketing the best thing you can do is to always keep growing adding people to your team every week.
If you are in business inspire your co-workers by leading by example. Do the things you want them to do and don’t say a word…Actions speak louder than words!
