Imagine what your life would be like if you were able to keep your fears from holding you back?? What would you do? The challenge for most people is the risk of feeling like a failure keep some people from achieving their greatness within. It is human nature to leave a way out if we are confronted with something that makes us feel uncomfortable. During the last financial crisis millions of people in America were loosing money in the markets, some peoples 401k’s lost 40-50 percent of their value, folks on a fixed income were now faced with going back to work just to get by…If you turned on the news the topic of each broadcast was negative information…People were told to sell before they lost all their savings which made more people be fearful of what was going to happen next! Some of the most successful people on the planet made millions during times of despair. Sir John Templeton the greatest investor of the 20th century started from very humble beginnings living in a small town in Tennessee. He worked hard and found himself on wall street during the 1937 depression. He always believed in buying shares at “the point of maximum pessimism.” Whereas most people were fearful John thought it was the time to invest. He needed eat and be smart about spending his money as well as how he would survive. Tony decided to go to a restaurant on the other side of town. There was an all you can eat buffet for about six dollars and ninety five cents or so…There he could eat for a few days while he would figure out what to do. As he was eating a very large portion of food Tony noticed a little boy open the door for his mother followed her to the table and held the chair for her to sit, like a true gentleman. Tony was completely taken back by this boy so much so that on his way out he stopped and introduced himself to him, told the boy how much of a gentleman he was to his female guest, the boy smiled and said-That’s my mom I’m not really taking her out I don’t have any money…Tony looked at him and said, yes you...

It doesn’t matter who you are life has a very unique way of adding challenges to our lives, yet most of us miss the seed of possibilities within every challenge. However for most of us challenges tend to look like problems, not possibilities. Truth is even the toughest problems can transform your life and take you to the next level. The question we have to ask ourselves is how do we overcome and get back to being the creator of our lives and stop just surviving. Albert Einstein says it best: “Crisis is the greatest blessing for people and nations, because crisis brings on progress… It’s in crisis that inventive discoveries and great strategies rise. He who overcomes a crisis overcomes himself without being ‘Overcome.’” Five simple steps to thrive not just survive Step out of your comfort zone: We all like surprises, however we only like ones that make us feel comfortable. Don’t be afraid to stretch yourself a little bit every day. If you and I are going to make progress we must first decide to step out there and take action. Focus on what you can control: Often we focus on things that we can’t control which results in more of what we don’t want to appear into our lives. What we focus on has a massive effect on how we feel. Be careful where you direct your thoughts. Make a decision and hold yourself accountable: You must first decide and follow through with what you said promised yourself you would do. No one can do it for you. Do it now… See it as it...
