Over the years we have all had the desire to become wealthy, however if your like most people “life” just seems to get in the way and there never seems to be enough money to get ahead. The good news is there are many ways to increase your wealth with little to no change in your standard of living. First we must figure out what we want. Are you spending money on things that don’t bring you joy! One of the first things to do is to come up with a realist goal in mind. If a professional marksman is shooting at a moving target do you think he will hit it?If you and I are going to live a life of financial freedom we must first set up a plan. The decisions made today lay the foundation for the financial future for tomorrow. When I was younger with little kids one of the biggest struggles my wife and I were faced with was saving money. Don’t get me wrong we were both mindful of what we spent money on, however there just seemed to always be an unexpected expense that would come up. I decided to make a small shift in what we spent our money on: Instead of going out for supper on the weekend with my family, I ordered pizza and had “movie night” with the kids. That small shift saved us 2,000 in one year. Think about your expenses, it’s not about depriving yourself, it is adjusting your spending habits to be congruent with your core values. Here are 6 steps to help you be...

When we think about branding most of us think about McDonald’s, Dunkin Donuts, The Home Depot, just to name a few. However there are other brands out there that we don’t think about, Old Spice (“The mark of a man) Fed Ex (“The world on time”) Ford Trucks ( “Built ford tough”). Did you ever think about people could also be a brand??? Superman John Wayne Wonder Woman John Glenn James Bond Nelson Mandela Each has some sort of impact on our lives, perhaps when you were a child you watched superman and thought to yourself some day I’m going to be strong and fearless like him, or you might like the west and want to be like John Wayne who epitomized ruggedly individualistic masculinity. Or the fictional DC comic super hero heroine Wonder Woman. Have you ever thought about being an astronaut like John Glenn. How about the secret agent James Bond who always seemed to get out of a “tight spot” just in the nick of time. Maybe your passion is to lead people like the anti-apartheid activist Nelson Mandela. Needless to say we remember people for what value they add to our lives which leaves us with a memory of what they provided. Either way it is something you never forget. Of coarse famous people are that way because we see them on T.V. or in the movies, but each one of them started out somewhere ! You have a unique brand that’s within you just waiting to come out. I know what your thinking, Steve I don’t have a brand and I’m not famous....

Have you ever looked back on your life and said…I never seem to have the time to do what I need to do, there is always something I need to do! If only I had more money, I could take the time to do the things I want to do in life. If your like most people you wake up to a alarm clock screaming in your ear, get dressed, have a bite to eat, and drive to work. All the while thinking about what you need to accomplish that day at work, sound familiar? As the day comes to a close you are looking forward to going home and relaxing…But do we really relax??? For most of us it’s hurry home eat dinner then hurry to…Cut the grass…Clean the house…Fix that leaky faucet…Go grocery shopping…Help the kids with their homework…Do the laundry…Etc…Etc… We miss an important part of life which is, spending time with our thoughts. Our own internal voice. There is a place we go from time to time when our mind is not so “busy” thinking about all the things that need to get done, it is a calmness that overtakes us, a place where we go in our mind, nothing else in life matters…It can be just before you go to bed or perhaps when you first wake up, that break in time when there are no thoughts racing around in your mind. What if you could make that connection every day, you would have less stress, more energy, better focus, how would that make you feel? Truth is there is no “magic formula” to...

Seems like everyone you talk to these days is busy, earning a living, trying to balance between work, family and friends. There is never enough time in the day to do the things you want to do. The common theme today is: “I have no time” “I can’t seem to find the time” “I ran out of time” “I don’t have time for that right now” Has the world changed? Is your life different today than when you were a child? What is causing this change in society? The one constant in life is change, although we don’t like it change is actually good for us all! It helps us grow and stretch ourselves out of our comfort zone. However for some people this can be stressful. So what can we do to change our outlook and appreciate life in our very busy schedule? How can we eliminate stress? There are many books on this subject, but for most of us we are looking for something quick! sound familiar? Over the years I have read many books on how to meditate and how to relax the mind, all great books. However it requires a time commitment and discipline to implement each day. I discovered a way…would take only 10 minutes a day…I had amazing results…You can too if you do the following: 1) Gratitude, before you start your day think about all the things you are grateful for in your life, your health, family, friends, your job, ability to have shelter and food each day, etc… 2) Prayer, there are people in your life that may need a prayer,...
